Boreal Toad and Bullfrog

Post by PNWHerper »

Yesterday, on my lunch break I took a walk and found a beautifully greenish boreal toad (Anaxyrus boreas boreas) hopping off the trail. Here are some photos of it, and a bullfrog that was also found at the work property about a week ago.

Anyway, thought I would share and hope you guys enjoy!

And here is some pics of the front and hind feet. Check out the tubercles. :)

And there is the bullfrogs feet for comparison. So much smoother and longer toed.

A bit Northeast of Seattle against the foothills of the Cascades.
