Agamidae from Nepal - please help with ID

Post by Kongi » May 14th, 2012, 2:19 pm

Hi,
I am a new member here and would like to ask you for help. I found this site when searching for a herpetological forum and I believe that there are many knowledgeable fans of reptiles here :)) I live in the Czech Republic but my question is about Nepal.

Can anyone help me to identify this beautiful agamid from Nepal. The locality is above 2000m a.s.l.
Many, many thanks for you help
Petr

Appears to be a species of Japalura, though which one I can't tell you. There's been a few new species discovered in this genus lately, so you never know :thumb:

This would be a good book to own in regards;
http://www.amazon.com/Amphibians-Reptil ... 873&sr=8-9

There were other, cheaper options also found on amazon.com.
