Volume 43, number 2 (June 2012) is now online at ZenScientist.com, and will mail from the printer on 29 June. This is a special "World Congress of Herpetology" issue, to coincide with the 7th WCH in Vancouver in August. Contents include a "History of the World Congresses of Herpetology" (authored by the Secretaries-General of the first six congresses). At 196 pages, this is our largest issue ever. Additional items of note in this issue include an obituary for Joseph T. Collins (prepared by Kraig Adler and James Murphy), and the debut of a new section ("Herpetological Nomenclature") under the section editorship of Jay Savage. Of particular interest to the alterna and subocularis crowd, Dustin Rhoads and Gerry Salmon have authored an illuminating article on the collector of the type specimens and provide information that restricts the type locality for both species.
The cover image features a Hydromantes shastae (Shasta Salamander), photographed by Rob Schell.
