Nice picture, and I'm agreeing with the others an by saying nice-looking striped female. The tail is regrown so its probably beyond the juvenile stage.

I'm pretty sure Brad knew it was a SB, all along... just needed a reason to post it's really clean pattern... I'm a BIG fan of clean symmetrical patterns... jim

Thanks Jim, I was pretty sure but looked on CA Herps and saw none to match. But then, what else could it be so... It is a pretty one, take by my friend Laurie in the wind farms near Mojave.
