Just a few shots

Post by infidel » June 9th, 2013, 8:33 am

I spent a whole 30 minutes at snake days in Sanderson yesterday before my runts made it necessary I leave. We did make a day of it however doing a little driving and exploring on the way home. We stopped at the Pecos river boat ramp and saw a few herps.

and this whipsnake that we watched for about 5 minutes chasing lizards. These guys are FAST but in most cases, the lizards were faster. Entertaining to watch.

"just a few [PERFECT] shots" Who would know exactly how the lateral series of scales on a Canyon Lizard merge with dorsal series. Perfect again.

I saw you but you were sitting up front asking the Warden Questions when I was leaving..My 4 yr old was trying to release all the venomous so I figured it was time to go.

No kidding, man. Pretty damn humbling for "just a few quickies from the ol' boat ramp".

Paint me a deep chartreuse with envy. In six years, I've never seen a foraging snake hunt.

That mental image really made my day. Thank you!! :-)
