Technical Coordinator for nafha.org website neeeded

Post by Fundad »

Hello Members,

NAFHA is need of candidates for a Technical Coordinator.

Don has been kind enough to continue to host nafha.org for us, but he doesn't want to do web administration on the website any longer. Its a tedious task and don't blame him one bit, there is no reason we can not find someone else to update the web site for us. Thank You Don.

I imagine it would be items like the following examples;

Putting up Voting Polls
Adding/Removing officers and Officer log in permissions.
Adding/Removing projects
Adding/Removing Announcements
Handling non working links and such on the website
Backing up the website
Adding/Removing Bylaw revisions
Adding/Removing FAQ
Adding/Removing National Event info
I am sure there is more I am missing, but Don will have more to add here?

Being in charge of any other technical help we need on the site or any other unforeseen projects.

Don will continue to support the HERP database, but that will be a HERP item once incorporated.

Obviously this is a non paying job, but a very important job. Helping us make a difference in
future conservation of our herps we all love..

Chapter board member please ask you chapter members. Its a perfect job for a student looking to build a resume, or any web developer looking to add to his/her success list. We
are more than willing to offer a Job recommendation or other items to anyone that does this
successfully for us for a period of time..

Don please feel free to add anything I missed..

Note: This roll is not defined completely with the IB yet, but we are working on it and will present it to the membership very soon.

So Who Can Help Us?

Thank You In Advance
Brian Hinds
International Coordinator
