Not only does this event promise camaraderie, presentations by professionals and hobbyists, and field herping in herp heaven, it also raises funds for reptile and amphibian research and conservation efforts in Texas. Thanks to the organizers, sponsors, and participants for all they do!

Sanderson, Texas.

I'd love to go, but I doubt that a herping trip for daddy is what my kids really want for Christmas.

Well, then, get a permission slip! 8-)

P.S. If you think it gets easier to get away when you're older, you'd be only partially correct. Time off work, finances, wife has other plans... :P

True story.

That's exactly how long Saturdays at home get started. Not enough money, not enough time off, and your lady's got that look in her eye. Might as well put away your camera and start looking for your work gloves. Chances are good you'll be using those instead.
