New Global Herp Atlas project

Post by Chris Smith »

Hi all,

Herpin' season is well underway in the northern hemisphere, so I wanted to remind folks of the new global HerpMapper project started by several NAFHA and FHF members. In addition to herper participation, we are really trying to get more lay-folk involved in reporting their observations, including local / regional park naturalists, birders, hikers, etc. We could really use you help spreading the word. Below is a flyer with more info:

Also feel free to send any questions / concerns my way: [email protected]

Thanks,
Chris

Bump. FYI - You can easily import your observations from HERP to HerpMapper (and we are working towards a transfer system for other databases as well). Just create an account on HerpMapper and go to: http://www.herpmapper.org/my-account/import

Also check out HerpMapper on Facebook and Twitter!!
