I'd say it's more likely a Texas Spotted Whiptail, Aspidoscelis gularis.

Chris is right, it is a gularis. Racerunners don't have spotting in the lateral fields unless its a birth defect or hybridization. Also the shade of green on the back is typical of gularis.
