Sorry guys. I've been busy with work, and it looks like I dropped the ball on getting a species list thread up last month. So, before I get caught up in work/life again, here's an August thread to get things going. As I'll likely be limited to counting turtles in the ditch out my office window during August, I don't have anything to start us out with this time. Hopefully, someone else can make it out this weekend and get the ball rolling.

Re: August Species List
Armin and I went out on his property and did a little canebrake hunt on 08-17-14.
Black Masked Racer - 1 hiked
Copperhead - 1 hiked
Eastern Garter - 1 hiked
Speckled king - 4 flipped
Canebrake - 6 hiked
The six canebrakes beats our previous record of four in one day, and amazingly none were found under cover, but instead were spotted out in ambush/basking, even after heavy rainfall.
