Good AZ Herp book inquiry

Post by tomharten » December 10th, 2014, 2:45 pm

Hi Folks,

My wife asked me to find a good herp book for a budding AZ herper (16 year old). Is there a "must have" guidebook or other reference for the state or preferably SE AZ?
Thank you in advance for any help that you can provide!

Thanks Chris. I did see that book on Amazon, but wasn't familiar with it. I appreciate the recommendation.

It's not perfect (the range maps aren't detailed enough for my taste, for example), but it's still pretty good. :thumb:

I agree with Chris. That book is a must have for any newbie herper in AZ. And it's super cheap.

Thanks guys. I may have to give my wife a hint to pick up an extra copy for me!
