senior project a success!

Post by axeman2729 »

Last Saturday, I presented my senior project on reptiles and amphibians both native and exotics. it was a complete success!!!! 47 people came! I touched on many topics including the differences between reptiles and amphibians, the different types of them, why they are important (specificly how they are environmental indicators and how researchers are using axolotls for regeneration research, several common native species, what an exotic is the benefits and dangers of keeping exotics and then two common species that are kept. Will post pictures soon.

Great job Axeman! Keep getting the word out! I don't believe that there is enough appreciation for herpetofauna among the general public, and now more than ever awareness and education are key. Keep up the good work!!
