Halifax Va area?

Post by mikez » April 2nd, 2015, 4:53 am

On my way home from FLorida next month I'll be staying over an extra day in Halifax Virginia. Would like to spend the day herping. Can anyone tell me what to expect for species and conditions? I know where I'm staying is a horse farm with lots of fields. I see powerlines on google map near by. Anyone know if there's much to flip in the area? Also will probably road cruise the evening, any suggestions?
Lastly, is any license required in VA?

Wish I could help you but I don't know anything about VA.

Thanks, was hoping to get at least a general answer. Maybe no Va members here.

Mike,
We gave VA to your northeast chapter a few years ago.

(This was an act of kindness to Kyle because you folks north of VA don't have any herps! ;) ;) )
