Herps in the Prescott area

Post by littlejimmer »

Hey everyone,

I'm going to college in Prescott next year and was just wondering if there were any herps to look for in that area. Is the elevation to high?

Thanks

Thanks! Maybe we can go out in the field in the future! Are there any known records of Mountain kings, toads, or banded geckos? I know you can find the bandeds in PHX.

There are a lot of other herps (lizards, etc.). Toads are common once the monsoon rains come in July. Never saw a gecko around the Prescott area.
