Some good news, I guess. Of course, the chytrid could just as easily reinfect the population as it did the first time.

I remember reading while back about a bacterium that was discovered on the skin of the red-backed salamander (P. cinereus) that effected resistance against Bd. I am wondering if there have been further discoveries or if this has been applied in any way? Any info out there?
