My favorite shots from Costa Rica

Post by the_cw1 »

Here's the thing guys: you all need to head to Costa Rica. Have you been? No? Well buy some tickets, because it is a herp fans dream. Anoles and ameivas everywhere. Great culture. Relatively cheap (compared to Portland anyways) and heaps of good people. I went at the end of February, so it has taken me a little while to finally post this. So sorry all!

Obligatory as well: meet up with Brian at the Costa Rican Amphibian Research Center. Straight up cool guy. I loved my time there. He gave me some good ideas for the rest of the trip too.

I'm not much into long stories via text online, so I'll let the pics do the talking. Pura Vida!

Great stuff. Costa Rica is indeed an amazing place. And definitely one of the most affordable places to visit. Gotta love the Cruziohyla. Your Dipsas bicolor looks to actually be Sibon nebulatus, by the way.

Thanks all! For those of you lurking, I found tickets to be quite affordable. I didn't even rent a car there.

@Stohlgren
Thanks for the check. :)
