Hi all,
I'm currently 25000 words into my new book about our adventures here in Borneo, and I'm looking for a certain quote I've heard many times, but forgot the exact wording and author: some Victorian naturalist once said something to the tune of "You can find thousands more flowers on any English spring meadow than in the rainforest". Does anybody know the exact words and who said it? (Darwin? Wallace?)
Thanks very much in advance!
Cheers from Sarawak,
