2017 LAEEF

Post by nightdriver »

Here's a few shots of Saturday's Los Angeles Environmental Education Fair. Many thanks to Nate for making the long drive up to Arcadia to participate this year. It was a pleasure to hang with him for the day. We have another excellent Education Specialist in the California Chapter. The day went almost without incident.... :D . Here's a few pics from the event.

Thank you Nate and Keith for representing NAFHA at the event!

Looks like it was pretty busy there, and a lot of people got a chance to check out some of our native herps. I hope you had some fun too.

Cheers,

Jeff

Very nice to see this. It looks like there was a lot of enthusiasm. Well done!

PS- I particularly like the loose Coral Snake next to Alex and her friend!

A fine time was had by all. There was a good turnout this year. I don't know the exact numbers, but they were expecting over 1,000 kids to show up. Enough showed up that Nate's herps were getting tired of being held.

The coral was (un)fortunately not real....Alex and friend are... :D

I'm fairly sure Nate ended up taking home more plants than he brought herps...
