accoustic jam sessions @ Nat Meet

Post by hellihooks »

Jeff Norland, being quite busy with other preparations, asked me to post on this...
If you're coming to the Nafha Nat. Meet in Ca... and would like to sit in on the accoutical jam sessions Fri/Sat night, at the campsite... bring your instruments. We hare in Ca have several members who are in bands, and hope they will participate... who's in to jam?? :D jim

Thanks for posting this Jim.

I hope at least a few people will be down to jam for a while, at least one of the two nights. I'll bring my old harmonica, but I don't think anybody would want to hear me play it

The campground has a special spot for making noise - the Drum Circle area. It's a short walk from the camping area and has some large boulders forming a sort of ampitheater, a firepit, and some logs to sit on. We don't have to jam there, but it's an option.

Rather than Hooker's or Morrison's versions... I lean towards the more eclectic Elvin Bishop version...
