Rainbow Snake

Post by Zach Cava »

I had the opportunity to see this rarely encountered species in south Georgia earlier this week, when some friends and I found one out moving around (likely hunting) in a shallow wetland after dark.

These snakes are hard to find and hard to photograph! Thanks to Ben Stegenga and Michael Holden for their help and patience with capturing these images.
