When I say end of year, I mean December 24th. R-Man, Mike and I visited one of the usual spots north of Baton Rouge.

First snake was a Black (Speckled) King

Next was a corn

Another corn

A baby king

A different king

A copperhead

A couple more kings

And a final corn. Note that Feliciana corns are not so attractive when compared to my "Okeetee Orange" vest

Very nice.

All over LA is one of my favorite herping states.

I always love seeing those eastern LA Corns, especially comparing them to the our eastern variants, and , of course, LA Kisatchie animals (P. slowinski).

Very nice! Cool to see scarlet kings from LA. Are they sympatric with milks in places in LA?

No known sympatry - scarlet kings like the ridgetops and milks are in the floodplain. They probably come within a mile of each other, but neither seem to be in the forested ravines.
