Austin in April

Post by NHherper » February 25th, 2019, 10:19 pm

Hello all,

I'm taking my 7 year old son to Austin over April vacation (20th-24th) and we'd love to do some herping while we're there. Having lived in New England all my life, I'm not familiar with herping in that type of climate or geography. I'd be eternally grateful for any pointers that may increase our chances of seeing some wildlife, particularly snakes. I'd be up for tagging along on a herping trip if one of you were kind enough to extend an invitation, but GENERAL location advice is much appreciated as well. Thanks in advance!

Multiple species may be seen exploring these areas right in town.
