That is one hell of a trip! Great photos and report. I bet you never sweated so much in your life! The biodiversity of Costa Rica is pretty magical. I have only been once, and my trip was much more limited, so I am very jealous of your wide spread time there!

Yes, the fairy-tale cloud forest wasn't packed with herps... Chytrid might have gotten to the frogs, but also not a single lizard during hours and hours of hiking - weird...
