Hey is the Crotalid an oreganous oreganous, or a oreganous lutoses? AKA Northern Pacific or Great Basin....
It may depend on where you are in Jackson Co. Do you want a good read on the subject?

The Rattlesnake in that bucket is a Northern Pacific (Crotalus oreganus oreganus)
