They were, but we got enough subscriptions to finally go bulk, which means slower shipping. We will account for that when we announce the next release, now that we know to expect it.

It should be in your mailbox any day, it will be well worth the wait. We packed in another 4 pages, bumping it up to a full 60 :thumb:

Tease. I still haven't seen mine. Getting withdrawls.

Herping's gone down the crapper lately :( PDSP is closed at 6pm (which is when I get off work), and Wildcat Bluff, my other go-to is just closed period

I'm eagerly awaiting Issue 3.
I usually check my mail only once a week (outside box) but I've been checking daily ... can't wait to read it.

its interesting the range of delivery times for bulk mail, hmmm. I know Washingtonians received them as early as Monday. Please post up when yours arrives so we can get an idea of how long it has taken.

Yeah, very odd that a mag would make it to WA before two hours north of where they were shipped. Keep us posted.

I bet the holidays have a lot to do with too. I do a lot of online shopping and stuff that gets sent USPS is so random in its delivery to my place. *I'm still hanging in there for the mag.

I think you're right. Sounds like a lot (or all) of the subscribers out west have received their copy (as far as I know), so maybe the holidays and insane weather are coming into play.

I think bulk mail often gets shipped to a central sort facility without much (or any) presort, so it wouldn't surprise me if being 2 hours from where they shipped doesn't matter.

With a bunch of mail boxes at the same place, there also are instances where mail is placed in the wrong box. Hopefully that wasn't the case, I only receive neighbor mail 2 or 3 times a year, so I doubt it.

Jimmy.......if you ordered before a few weeks ago, it should be delivered to you any time now. If it was after (last 2 weeks, roughly) that, then it will be going out in another week.

Fox.......yeah, I think the bulk rate mail has been pushed back to deal with the holidays. Sounds like it is filtering in throughout the country as we speak.

thanks,
scott

If you are an international subscriber with questions about issue 3, you should have recently received an email from Scott regarding our international shipping. If you haven't, email us at [email protected] and we'll forward it to you.

International....

It appears that the international shipment for Vol. 1, Issue 3 has been delayed. It was sent to our shipper in early December, so we are about 5-6 weeks into that process. They should have arrived or will be arriving any time now around the international community. I'm assuming the delay was due to the holidays, etc. So, given that they would normally take 4-6 weeks, lets give it another week or so to see what shows up. Sorry for the lag, but it is out of my hands. Either way, we will get them to you!

We are continuing to work on finding international distributors. It would be great to have a distributor in Europe, Australia, South Africa, Thailand, and India. Those, as of this message, are the places Herp Nation would gain the most momentum if we had ground-level distribution for not only individuals, but pet shops, shows, etc. Anyone who wants to consider joining the team, please email me. [email protected]

On another note, we have a new shipper in place starting with the next issue. I feel REAL good about this. They have a strong record of consistent, high-quality work, and that will include international orders as well.

Got both issue 2 and 3 a couple days ago! I have read issue 2 and it was great, so much more content (lots of more pics and reading) than for example Reptiles Magazine.

Great work!
