Well sorry to get anyone's hopes up, its a lifer for me but probably not for anyone who lives (or has even thought about living) in Florida - a cottonmouth! It was out and about at 4:30pm yesterday in about 72 degree heat. Excuse the elaborate framing - I got a little carried away in photoshop as I was excited about this guy.
Now I can really focus on my next lifer target EDB, though if you ask me its a myth that that species exists!.......

Good stuff. Had you been able to join us in ENP you would've gotten both lifers but enjoy the steadyn trickle of lifers for now: in a few years they'll be few and far between in florida for you!

Josh,
It was your success in ENP last weekend that inspired my trip - but you're right, I'm well aware that had I been able to join you I would of knocked off two birds with one stone.

Good job Kris! And that's a cool photo of an often-photographed snake. I like it!

I agree... that's a badass photo. And a lifer is a lifer. We all know the feeling. Enjoy it!!!
