February 17th salamander activity

Not too much, but they were active. This was the earliest I have seen them.

These pics were through a manhole cover, so sorry about the quality. We did not see any movement on the ground, just below. They were very active.

Next to a pond....................Man hole cover................I'm lost...........That has got to be the first pond that has a man hole access. :lol: :lol: :lol: What kind of pond is it ..$hIT POND?

It's actually an OK quality marsh. A suburban elementary school sits in the "upland"...The parking lot of which has sewers which probably drain the parking lot into the marsh. This is just a quarter mile from my home.

Is that a bunch of Blue Spotteds and a lone Tiger? Very interesting, indeed.

It's all tigers. The one is just huge, with a fat belly too. Nine incher and then some
