Anyone up for some camping/herping in Death Valley?

Post by Jason Mintzer » March 12th, 2011, 12:32 pm

I live in Orange County and am heading to Death Valley Sunday March 27-Wed 30th or Thur 31st. I want to knock stephensi off my list, and hopefully get some good wildflower photos. Anyone want to split gas/campsite fees?

I might be interested, lots of good spots there to observe herps.

I might be game too. I'm planning to hit the National Parks on the east side of the state that week.

I'll be there the week of the 21st through the 26th... just missing you...
an aquaintance of mine who lives just over the border in Nevada invited me to her ranch to photograph Amargosa toads that breed on her property.

last year I saw only DOR stephensi, near Death Valley but saw a ton of other herps. I hope to see more snakes this year than last
