What happened was and is a tragedy... but the community that created what was so valuable about what was lost is still here. The resource will be resurrected piece by piece.

Awesome post! Im going to be in Brewster or Crockett County sometime this summer and hope I get an Alterna! Love the pics of them on cuts.

Wow! What a great way to kick off the rebuild. Every shot was fantastic, but I particularly enjoyed the Diadophis and Masticophis images.

Yep, great start and tribute! All wonderful but the ringless regal is my favorite of the bunch...well, maybe, too many great shots. :shock:

Absolutely amazing pictures!! I really enjoyed the Pit with moving blades of grass! Very original shot!! What I would'nt do to get subjects like that!!

Great pics! I'm very jealous of the pictigastor. I was hoping to see one this weekend and alterna of course. I found neither. What type of lighting are you using?
