Tejon Ranch trip + some SoCal stuff

Post by Jason Mintzer » April 18th, 2011, 2:13 am

First, I will start with the April 17 NAFHA California trip to Tejon Ranch.

Hellihooks turned up these two Western Rattlesnakes. What do you all think, helleri or oreganus?

We turned up a few Blainville's

And some Xantusia vigilis

Hellihooks also found the prettiest fence lizard I have ever seen

It was definitely a fun day. Thanks to Todd for organizing the trip.

Now, some stuff I have found in SoCal

That toad looks like it made enemies with a Mexican cartel. One step away from having its face sewn to a soccer ball!

Cool finds. Love the horned lizards and boas.
