Clinton County PA herping (update from June 2011)

Post by tomharten »

Hello,
I'm new to the list but find the posts that I've read to be quite interesting. Some friends and I did some herping in Clinton County, PA last week. Beautiful country and the herps did not disappoint. I live in southern Maryland and this was my first visit to that region.

We had nice sightings of timber rattlesnakes, red-bellied snakes, eastern garter, and ring-neck snakes. A collective lifer for the group was a smooth green found near a powerline cut.

Tom

PS Just got around to uploading the pictures to a host site....a year later. Better late than never!
