Went out with some friend who were kind enough to show me some awesome spots
A nice 41 snake day
Getting this post in before brick crushes it with his 73 snake day hahahah
First snake of the day was this cold copperhead in shed
Copperheads were the most common snake of the day with 25 being seen
crevice pictures!
2 peeping out
Also managed 2 black rats but only got pics of one, decent amount of pattern
This poor fat guy was being hassled on a path by some people who meant well
These next 2 coppers looked spectacular, described as Butter by someone who is not very good at describing things
Time for the best part
Got too close for comfort with this first guy he was not where we thought he would be
Saw this looking out at me, wish it was out more
My favorite find of the day, another close call with babies
A young snake going about his business staring at the large man above him
Another adult checking out the air
Her babies one the other side of the rock, felt bad startling them
Thanks for looking

Ehh... Most of mine were garters and redbellies.
I have never seen a baby copperhead. I'm J.

Yeah man I'll wear shorts to climb mountains... Think of burnt butter man That trip was pretty epic, but where were the hogs! Don't say that you startled the babies because it may start a riot.

Looks like a great day, but only a couple of rats? You need to herp harder. Just kidding! If you want to meet up over there sometime before the season is out, let me know.
