Just so everyone knows, the northeast is more than garters and redbacks. We have quite the collection of unique herps. :thumb: It has been a great year and I've met a lot of great fellow herpers. I'm already itching for next season! So it begins....

Frogs and Toads- I've been a little dry with frogs this year because I was focused on other fun herps., but no shortage of toads!

No, I had actually flipped it under some tin. That shot was taken after I had set the snake down to put the tin back, I turned around and it was just sitting like that. One of my favorite photos I took this year. By the way, I love those lizards! we've got plenty in CA, but there are no lizard species in MA. I missed them while I was out there!

The boxie, wood turtle, wood frog, and eastern milk did it for me. I need to get back east and knock 3 of those 4 off my life list. Nice series!

Nice post, you have no reason to feel bad about your season. Looks like you had a heck of a year in the NE. Great variety, I think you really nailed it on a few shots here, just great.

It was definitely a heck of a year. This is my first year with a decent camera so I've gotten a lot of practice.

Great stuff! The eastern kingsnake is stellar! Very classic looking animal. Neat pine snake too.
