Special Request: Biologists & Appalachia/WV Field Herpers
So I have a conservation project idea, and I need to contact field herpers who are familiar with herps in the Appalachian Mountains around Virginia, WV, and Kentucky, as well as herp biologists who specialize in species identification and classification. This could be a really important project if I could get the right experts and supporters on board.

Be sure to add this to the SE chapter and the main forum as well.

Thanks Kyle, I just added the post to those forums. If I can compile a good team of experts, the potential for saving some habitat could be pretty high.

You'll probably have to post a little more detail, then if needed, you could petition the database for records.

Depending on what it is your wanting to do I may be able to help, mostly with the identifiication portion as I'm very familiar with all WV species. Would love to hear what you have in mind Kari. I'm no "expert" by any means, but I know a thing or 2. lol
