Hooks from Australia?

Post by Martti Niskanen » September 9th, 2015, 7:42 am

A friend is heading off to Melbourne later on in the year and is looking for a good quality collapsible or folding hook.
It would be easiest to get the hook from the US, but everyone's quoting ridiculous shipping costs, and finding suitable hooks in Europe has been surprisingly difficult.

Any advice? He's got friends in Melbourne, so posting a hook from anywhere in Oz is fine.

Would it be possible to buy one in Australia instead of from the US and shipping to elsewhere?

I tried Google.com.au and found this.

Seems like if you searched a bit more you might find something more to your liking.

Midwest tongs has a new really cool hook coming out. It's folds up in three sections. Take a look at their site.

Midwest's shipping costs to Europe are around 100USD.

Thanks captainjack. That looks pretty good.
