Some recent shots...

Post by CCarille »

An Annulated Tree Boa (Corallus annulatus) that I received gratis from a friend who replaced a female I had that spontaneously passed without [definable] cause.

Almost 2 y/o Amazon Tree Boa (Corallus hortulanus).

A yearling Puerto Rican Boa (Epicrates inornatus)

A yearling female Brazilian Rainbow Boa (Epicrates cenchria cenchria). She has some neat double-spotting down her dorsal scales. She is also much lighter in coloration compared to my other BRBs - almost pink - and has a really light colored head.

An old shot (6 years ago) of a bullseye Brazilian Rainbow Boa I owned:

A few shots from my friend Jerry's collection:
Rock Python (Python sebae) angry at the world.

Albino female Monocled Cobra (Naja kaouthia) surprisingly docile and hard to get to hood up.

Normal male Monocled Cobra

Gaboon Viper (Bitis gabonica)

Lastly, for fun, a couple shots from a yearly Balloon Festival here in the Hudson Valley.

Thanks Berkeley! The BRB really is much lighter compared to the other 4 I have.

I'm currently in Puerto Rico now on vacation and thought how cool it would be to see a Puerto Rican Boa. Great pictures

Thanks Terry! Ask around... the PR boas hang out around caves catching bats in PR I believe. Find some and get some photos in the wild!

Great work as always Chris! glad to finally see where you have been hanging out with your absence else where in the internet buzz. And everyone knows that Afrocks are only mad at the world because they have all them teeth, and no tooth brush ;-)
