Narrow-headed Garter Snakes rescued from the Gila National Forest in anticipation of being choked out by the ashes from the fires upstream. They are trying to breed them. Most will be released when conditions improve:

and the rattle snake is a C. polystictus: cool post, haven't made it out to that zoo yet. Looks like they have a decent collection.
