turtle beak trim?

I am looking for a vet or herp savy person to help me trim the beak of my 20+ yr old
3 toed box turtle. I live in La Crosse WI about half way between Minneapolis and Madison.

Why do you want to trim its beak?

Because they can get overgrown when the turtle is in captivity and not naturally grinding it down when eating things that have some grit to it.

You can also do it a non invasive way. Either build an outdoor pen for the summer, it works wonders. Or start letting him chew on cuttlebone, found in your local petstore in the bird dept.
