Found him in picture #1, only because I believe you've posted one of these before. Such an awesome insect. Before your pics, I've never seen one like it before. I wonder if they are found in Singapore. Going back on the 23rd for a day.

Thanks, Lou. Yes, you can find Chorotypus in Singapore too, and other cool Orthopterans like Systella sp. If you're in KL, let me know.
