I say interesting because where it was found.

Bluff Creek out in California back in the 70's!

That should ring a bell to some!

Actually a very common track but it had me thinking out of the box for a while!

Thanks for looking!

Bear? With a scuff, or perhaps a long register? Tough to tell.

I know what I am hoping it to be, being up in Bluff Creek!

Thanks Berkeley for the comments!

It was a black bear track where the front foot and back foot overlap and at first glance looks shall we say "humanoid'

This was taken when I lived in Oregon and did a lot of rock hounding and panning for gold. And of course in my younger days it was pretty exciting to go check out where the famous Patterson bigfoot film was taken. Above where two particular streams forked and a very large sandbar was all I knew at the time. With a pic out of a magazine and knowing it was filmed looking on the left side I was able to find the exact spot it was filmed. The tree stumps and trees in the background all matched in the most famous pic!

Do I believe in bigfoot? ;) Not really but a truly fascinating subject! :D :D

Those were fun times for sure!

Yeah I vote made up and/or extinct. There are just too many people in the NW to not have solid confirmation of such a large animal.
