I've had a pretty good year so far, and before I make my way down south I wanted to post some Nor Cal finds.
A Sand dunes Arboreal Salamander.
California Black Legless Lizard. (lifer)
Pacific Ringneck.
An interesting Northern Pacific Rattlesnake.
California Mountain Kingsnakes.
Corral Bellied Ringneck Snake.
Delta Aberrant Black Belly Kingsnake.
Young Northern Pacific with slight aberrant patterns.
California Nightsnake.
Western Longnose Snake.
California Kingsnake.
San Joaquin Coachwhip spotted by Richard Porter after seeing a few of them.
Blunt Nosed Leopard Lizards.
Male down a hole.
Mike Westphal, Richard Porter, and myself pulled up on this sight. (sorry for the crappy photos 150%+ crop through a windshield with a macro lens)

A screamer of a Northern Pacific Rattlesnake.
California Legless Lizards (lifer).
And I may be the first person ever to be bit by one.
A Nerodia sp.. found by some fishermen in San Joaquin Co. I hope this doesn't mean they are breeding.

Pacific Gophersnake in-situ.

Nice variety and nice shots, Chad. Your 'funky looking' Diablo might be a Coast. The Coast that I've seen on Hamilton look very much like Diablos on first sight except lighter yellow. They also have very little orange if any. Mutant labials on that one. Do you have any other shots?
