GORGEous Memorial Day adventure

Post by KUJordan »

Hey guys, long time no post from me (this is my first in the NW chapter forum.) I guess I should post here now since I've lived in Portland the past 2 years...

Took a short trip to Dog Mtn on 5.26. It was chilly and windy in the 60s. Saw numerous scorpions, garters and a rubber boa. Also found a norpac shed, but no live ones. Planning a trip back soon when it's warmer. Here are a few shots:

That's all for now :-)

Looks like a beautiful area. Congrats on the finds and time well spent in the field.

I'd never heard of Dog Mountain - that's a beautiful, beautiful spot. And fantastic getting a boa there.
