2010 - so far in So Cal
Here in no particular order are the results from various 2010 adventures, including several NAFHA events: kid’s day, Tejon Ranch Conservancy, and San Dieguito River Park Conservancy (we’re wearing those funny vests with SDRP on them). We visited some old familiar haunts this year, but spent most of our time exploring new areas. Hope you enjoy the show!

Great stuff Kent.
Those Z's are outstanding, and that perfect little striper is awesome.
Don't look now, but your photography skills are showing!

I really liked the lyre, the gecko, the first yellow PO'd gopher, alligator on the trunk and all of the kingsnakes

Re: 2010 - so far in So Cal
Thanks all for the kind words! We tried to make the most of the a reasonably wet year. As I was compiling the photos, I realized my wife is right - I do go herping a lot!
Re: 2010 - so far in So Cal
Wow, damn fine work there sir! Your wide angle boa overlooking the lake is absolutely perfect. Alot of those shots are tough to get to come off right, at least that's my feeling. The Z with very little black at the bottom of the page is a smoker! Great series.
Re: 2010 - so far in So Cal
Yeah,
but how much herping have you done LATELY?
Time to hit some local areas.

Thanks gents! Reako45, I found that lyre snake on Jan 2nd...and have not seen another since! I used to see lots of them, and for whatever reason they're now only rarely encountered. Jed, can't wait to see the results of the latest production...!
