Beautiful closeups of the rat! Nice job overall, too. You've just helped me to decide that a jaunt to ANF is in my very near future.

Very nice lookin' elapsoides. Those sandy roads through the pine forest are what herping dreams are made of.

is that slowpoke a gopher or just a bland colored box turtle? Kinda hard to tell in the pic. I assume gopher, but the shell looks pretty domed.

Again, awesome grey rat close ups! Nice EDB and scarlet king finds. I have heard the same thing about your coral snake road. The sand there is too lose for my car. I have only found one coral in ANF (or anywhere) and it wasn't even in the same county.
