Welcome, Paul - good to see you posting here. I usually don't view too many of people's pictures on facebook, so it's nice to see on the forum. Those mole kings are real pretty.

Those are all excellent photos. I love the Pines and juvie EDB. The soft-shell aeries is probably my favorite though. Im always excited when I get a series of wildlife acting naturally.

TWO mole kings in ONE day? In FLORIDA?
That's fantastic! A good friend of mine once got two mole kings in a single night while road cruising a bit west of Marianna but that was twenty years ago.
The 'serenity' photo is superb and very evocative of the Florida panhandle. Excellent stuff.

Congrats on some awesome finds and pics!
On a PC right-click on the image and select "Properties" ...that will include the pixel dimensions. Don't know what it is on Mac, but something similar I'm sure.Tamara D. As for that species, I think that even a state could be too specific just by inference for anyone who reallly wants to nail it down. Of course, I guess they'd still have to be extremely lucky to find one.Coluber Constrictor wrote:Where did you find the Black Pine? Re: Recent finds in NW Florida
Thank you all for the comments. The Pine was not collected by me, but I ended up trading a snake for it to get it into better hands. I do not know the exact location where it was found, so releasing it was not a option in my mind. It was found in Florida, so it is a intergrade.
The photos I uploaded were sized by photobucket so I have to look at the files there to get that info.
I wish there was a captive forum to post photos of captive animals I own...or is there now?
Anyway, have a safe a happy 4th of July and enjoy our Countries birthday.

Norm, I am looking for kings, got a few spots given to me by co workers who see them in their yard occasionally. I offered a bounty if they caught them for me to photograph, none so far though. I love the area, just have not explored everything...

There is, indeed! Look further down the Board Index and you'll find the Herpetoculture Forum.Snakeman70 wrote:I wish there was a captive forum to post photos of captive animals I own...or is there now?

There is, go to the board index and scroll down toward the bottom to the "Herpeticulture Forum". But here's a shortcut: http://www.fieldherpforum.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=35Snakeman70 wrote:I wish there was a captive forum to post photos of captive animals I own...or is there now?

That field of Sarracenia is mind-blowing. Florida seems like a nice herping destination.
