For some reason, it makes me happy that the 100 millionth entry was submitted by a twelve-year-old, who saw a robin.

Pretty dang good growth, for ten years... 93,040 participants. But... bird sightings are not nearly so problematic to report as herp sightings, given a bird's natural propensity for mobility. Plus... who don't like birds? We herpers labor under an unfair yet extant discrimination.

I used to have a girlfriend named Robin, who I'd wake up early, every morning, so she could get... ahhhh... never mind.   jim

Why are you shocked he would want his GF to get him his morning coffee?

With no emotocon... not sure if you're joking or not... :? it's a play on the old "early bird gets the worm' axiom I would tell her that, though, when waking her with what Jim Morrison once called 'the dull surprise'.   not sure why she left me...

Guilty.

i'm guessing that progress will most likely eliminate all herps by the time we could even think about 100 million. on the bright side :D , i think the catastrophic ecosystem collapse that will have occurred prior to this, will have eliminated us in the process. not too sure if a smile is warranted here, but hey, it would be a good thing for nature.
