Got some decent coyote shots out my car window last week considering the 1/50 and 1/60 second shutter speeds.
Of course, 1/10 sec at 400mm doesn't quite get it done:

Great.
Could you tell what the coyote had in his mouth?
aside - Seems like a car is a great blind for birds and basking turtles.
I bought one of these several years ago, for just these opportunities.

Yeah, that would work if I had time to pull off the road, shut the engine down (vibration), crawl to the passenger side and attach... the entire time saying, "Please don't leave, please don't leave". As it happened, I shot this while idling in the middle of the road.BillMcGighan wrote:aside - Seems like a car is a great blind for birds and basking turtles.

All kidding aside, it looks like a decent unit, but a big bean bag would be faster.

This is a good series.
It's more than just animal pics, it shows a touch of behavior.
