People unfamiliar with Ravine Salamanders may not appreciate how much credit you deserve for that excellent photo of a tiny worm-sized critter. Cool!

The much-underestimated steaming jungles of Ohio! Who'dathunk it ... love the Leopard Moth and the Tiger Beetle, and that rock formation (wtf, how did it get that way?)

Thanks very much for sharing!

Dang that stuff is awesome!!!

Honestly you could have said that was florida, Australia, or a rainforest and I would have totally fallen for it. Never underestimate us more northern states for being nice and foresty

What a wonderful trip to Carter Caves, which is a state park in eastern Kentucky. You found an incredible number of salamanders. I have been to Carter Caves State Park numerous times and I have never been as successful as you have been finding herps. April 25th must have been a great day for salamanders since it rained most of the day. I live in Huntington, WV, which is an hours drive east of the state park.
