Low Desert Road Cruise

Post by LouB747 » June 14th, 2015, 8:21 pm

Went out last night, had fun. Quick video best viewed in 1080. Video actually looks pretty good for an iphone!

Thanks for watching.

Great video Lou. I like how informative it is. Everything you said is stuff most of the people here know, but I think it provides great descriptions for non herpers. Definitely makes the snakes seem less scary, which I feel is important for non herpers. Good job!

Thanks guys. I'm not much of a narrator, but it was so windy I had to delete the original audio. That left either a music video or a narration. Thought I'd try something different. It's obviously aimed more at guys that are new to the hobby. Fun night. 3 snakes around 10pm. Then 5 around 12:30am. Tough lull in between.

Thanks for the nice video. Good idea to profile the small snakes.! I just spent two evenings cruising Anza Borrego but saw almost nothing, only a shovelnose. It is probably to hot ca 95 in low lying areas and 90 higher up at 11pm.

I think if you go to youtube and search "small desert snakes" it'll show up. Or search LouB747 which is my YouTube channel. It'll probably be at the top of the page. Sorry it doesn't work on your mobile.

Thanks for subscribing. My son thinks it's cool I'm on YouTube. He thinks I should be getting more views, but I keep telling him the "herping" audience is pretty small. Unless I use words like deadly, killer, most venomous, I'm not going to get many views!
