Request For Partially Exposed Zonata Pics

Post by Kelly Mc »

Hi I would like to look at these. Locality info not important, but time and temperature would be appreciated. Thank you. I want to see Zonata in rocks to gain some insight in regards to a CB gifted animal I have.

Hey Kel,

I think the CA Chapter would be the best to post your question, but I'll throw in a photo that I found on the californiaherps.com website for you to check out.

Thanks Zach. I had thought I'd post it on the cali, but tagged this NAFHA category by mistake on my phone. Appreciate the reply!

Here's one from the Sierras. Same snake in each photo. The funny thing about this find was that I had been looking for Z's for the better part of the day then finely gave up and picked up the fishing rod. Then as I was negotiating the rocks around the river this guy popped into view. Go figure.
